Krabi mainland is becoming a popular destination for climbing in Thailand. Over the last few years, more than 230 routes have been developed at some fantastic crags such as Chong Phli (Spirit Mountain) and North Wall. Unfortunately there are also a growing number of problems. Many routes have slings that need regular replacing, and approximately half of the routes are still equipped with stainless steel lowering rings which are prone to stress corrosion cracking causing them to potentially fail. We have created this fundraiser to ask the climbing community to support us in purchasing titanium bolts and titanium lower-off rings to replace the old slings and rings. Your support is crucial in making our crags a safer place, and any donation, small or large is much appreciated. Any additional funds raised will be used for developing new crags. If you’re living in Krabi and would like to help out in person, please get in touch. We’re all working on new projects, so any help is really appreciated. Thanks and see you at the crag! 😀🙌
