I'm a Maryland-based cosplayer and costumer who loves to teach! I started cosplaying in 2002 (Sewing since 2001) and started competing in contests in 2005. I quickly started earning awards at small, local conventions for my craftsmanship and designs. I later went on to win a few awards at bigger conventions. This year, I plan to get back into competition. In 2014, I graduated with my BFA in Costume Tech/Technical Theater. After working for production houses, I went back to school to get my Masters degree in Puppetry, focusing on crafting skills and to further my interest in Cosplay. I graduated in Fall of 2017 with my M.A. I work frequently as a panelist, teacher, and cosplay judge at several conventions on the east coast. I usually teach sewing, 3D printing/modeling, micro-controllers, prop making, and puppet mechanisms.
