Founded in 1935 by Jonathan Williams, Mallet Productions (later Mallet Studios) was an influential British film studio based, behind some of the most critically acclaimed films to ever come from the United Kingdom. After expanding into TV and publishing, Mallet's rise seemed unstoppable until an ill-fated production led them to bankruptcy in the 1970's. Although Mallet's legacy has largely been forgotten in the intervening years, their output still has its loyal fans, and in mid-2014, the entire Mallet catalogue was bought with the intent of bringing these long lost classics back into the public eye, through various media platforms. Any donations received will go toward maintainance of the Mallet Productions website and/or toward our delving into the Mallet archives to find some more of lost classics.
