I wrote a novella 6 years ago. I've since finished my undergrad, lived and studied in Japan, and practiced meditation at a Buddhist monastery in China, but the COVID-19 economy has been rough. Finding time to make my best work a reality has been difficult between endeavors to simply pay the rent, and the more resources I have to work with, the more time I can devote to searching out publishers, writing a complete synopsis, querying agents, making revisions. Writing a story is only the beginning.
I'm a professional writer of literary horror, magical realism, and general weird fiction. I'm always looking for new ways to interact with my audience, not to mention facilitate the freedom to create more art, and I hope you'll join me for the journey! I draw things every now and again, I'm also a songwriter and musician, a aging gamer with a love of all things retro, and I teach elementary to early intermediate Japanese—though those aren't the main reason I'm here. Mostly, I just want to write the stuff you really want to read.
