I'm getting ready to start a new job and, low and behold, in the meantime my laptop is really giving up the ghost. Despite having reset the whole computer, it refuses to update still, so I've lost out on tons of programs/updates, and now the screen has decided to cut out. I'd like to get a new one of the same brand as I've grown fond of it, but I need a little bit of help, since the transition to a new job is going to lay me out flat for a little bit.
