20 international artists from around the world will attend our latest initiative: The Good Lab, with a particular focus on artists from Indonesia, the Philippines and South East Asia in general. Representation and the voices of these communities is so vital. Most creative projects are stuffed full of relatively privileged Westerners. We want to even the creative field.
We are global team of artists, creatives and imagineers who dream up small-scale, innovative and creative solutions or experiences to local and global issues. We are a socially conscious global arts initiative that uses art as a vehicle to generate solutions-based, visionary change in communities. We do this through dynamic interventions in public and virtual spaces, workshops, art tours, symposiums, creative residencies - or simply through bringing our artists' inventions and work into your lives to make them a little better and a lot brighter. Right now, we are raising funds to bring artists from under-resourced communities in South East Asia to our latest program: The Good Lab. We are providing a way for our global community to virtually buy us a metaphorical coffee and support us and the communities we work in. This is a platform enabling everyone to be an active change-maker and micro philanthropist. We know things are tough and crazy right now (OK - all the time), and many of our people want to help by throwing us a coin or two to help print up some art, send paint, or help pay to get our opportunities to people in the far flung areas of earth that we can't reach through normal channels.
