Welcome to my Ko-fi page! If you enjoy my content, please consider supporting what I do. First, I'm sure you'd like to know a little bit about me: I am a wife, mother, and writer based in Louisiana, and I have been working on my first novel since 2003. Most of that time was used to develop the story, research fantasy creatures, and, of course, actually writing, but the story officially grew wings and began to take flight in 2009 when I met my husband who is my biggest fan. His love and support has pulled me through the darkest of hours when all I wanted to do was give up. I started out writing poetry in high school, but I always had a story brewing in my mind ever since I was a child. It was a story I would go to when I was suffering with depression and anxiety, but I never considered writing until two of my friends, in a rare moment of me opening up and pouring my heart out, heard my story and told me how amazing it was, and suggested I become a writer. It was if a light had come on, and I knew, in that moment, what I wanted to be in life. Currently, I am a stay-at-home-mom with three awesome kids, two of which are special needs, and whom I homeschool when I'm not busy driving them back and forth to therapy. Every day is a challenge, but we tackle each one together, and come out stronger on the other side. Each of my kids is a blessing, even though they like to distract me when I'm trying to write, but I wouldn't trade a moment of it for the world. In my spare time, when I actually have some spare time, I like to play Lord of the Rings Online. You can find me running around on the server Landroval on one of my alts. Skyrim is another favorite, as well as a variety of PS4 games (The Last of Us, Alien Isolation, Kingdom Hearts, etc.). I also enjoy reading. From The Hobbit, to Harry Potter (I'm a Hufflepuff/Puckwudgie for those wondering), to Hunger Games, The Dark Elf Trilogies, and so much more. My favorite Genres are Romance, Fantasy, and Drama. I also like to dabble in crafts such as photography, painting, sculpting with polymer clay, and cross-stitching. Why a Ko-fi, you might ask? It's simple really. Although my husband works hard to provide for our family, most of his income goes to pay for necessities, including the therapy needed for our kids to help them enjoy life despite their disability. As such, there's little to almost no money left over to put towards my book which, after much consideration and conversation with already published authors, we have decided to self-publish. The pros of self-publishing seem to far outweigh the cons, but this also means that everything will be coming out of our pockets. Should you wish to donate, know that any donations received will go towards professional editing and publication of my first novel. No donation will be used for personal use, only professional. Thank you for your time, consideration, and support! You can also follow me on Instagram, Facebook, Tumblr, and Twitter for updates!
