Currently I live in small rental room in a house with obnoxious housemates who harrased me a lot, without kitchen nor internet, so I need to move out. Full apartment rent starts at MYR700 and average at MYR1,500/month, it meant I need at least MYR4,500 up-front deposit for average rental. But depending on contract term it could require up to MYR10,000 (±USD2,090) deposit, as transgender people like me are considered security risk. I put USD2,500 as goal to account for Stripe processing fee.
