For this phase, we continue to aid the healing of families left fatherless and impacted by the death of a sole provider. The Goal: to grow a nest egg in the name of generative support…a pool to draw from that nurtures growth and kindles interdependence. Our aspirations are broader, longer term community strengthening. J. Adiastri Friendship is an endeavor toward equanimity. The goal is to create a trusting network of unlikely friendship which authentically provides sanctuary, and support to friends who are vulnerable to exploitation. It seeks to encourage sovereign inter-dependency. Its reach is local, and global according to the need as it finds us. My Art profits, and YOUR monthly support provides the needed economic lever which gives vulnerable friends the opportunity to stabilize, and become interdependent and impactful in their community. Currently, we are helping the Marena families living in The Gambia - offering wrap-around, and stabilizing mentorship and employment with an eye on circular generational impact. This blog serves as weekly update directly from the lived experience.
