I'm slightly obsessed with words and the joy and release that comes from writing stuff down.
So I thought, for anyone who fancies some guidance and inspiration and shared love around the joy-bringing, head-clearing, creative, feel-good practise of regular writing (even you think you're “not creative” - not true by the way), then let's do some of that.
I'll send out a regular email filled with prompts, ideas and helpful reads to get you writing and keep you writing. If you are interested, I can also share behind the scenes of trying to publish a book, develop a creative practise and slow the fu** down when life is unbelievably busy.
And if you're up for it, you can come along to one of our 'Journalongs' too (and not just because I want to use that word, o.k maybe a tiny bit because I want to use that word). Although I think writing is a beautiful solitary practise, there is also a whole lot of joy to be found in doing it together. No pressure, no need to share out loud, just a group of truly gorgeous women spending time getting out of our own heads and onto the page.
Basically, this is a collective for women who want to write. For fun. For creativity. For understanding ourselves better. For finding our truths. For clearing our heads. For joy. Call it journaling, call it creative writing, it's probably both these things and more. What it isn't, is for learning to write professionally. Shit handwriting, pages full of scribble, jammies with a brew, are most definitely encouraged :)
Supporting this project allows me to spend time writing, and creating a journaling community and encouraging more women to write themselves better stories and get creative (when I should probably be working instead, haha). So, THANK YOU.
I've set the price at £5 for now, while we see how this goes and because you founding subscribers are AMAZING, but feel free to pay whatever you think it's worth :)
Basically, you'll be shouting me a coffee / cake once a month and in return I'll get the ideas flowing and be forever grateful for your support with all things writing. I cannot tell you how much it means xx
