HI! I'M NIKKI I am a lifelong photographer/artist/advocate from Portland, OR. Growing up in rural Oregon allowed me to appreciate the natural beauty around me that I love to capture with my camera and paintbrushes. Capturing the special moments with people and nature has been my heart's work my whole life. After many years of working in the social justice realm I was inspired by my family to refocus my art as the central part of my work. My art is my activism. I love using my photography and art to shine a light on the world either by capturing the moments of a movement or the loving glow of your family in a portrait. I find that my art and social justice work are closely intertwined and because of this both are stronger for it.
