Online Zoom Hafla was born out of a desire to support Egyptian Artists locked down in Egypt with no work or income. The Cairo nightclub scene was completely destroyed by the pandemic and many artists are still struggling to recover their livlihoods. Online Zoom hafla has raised the profile of giving back to source artists and grown to become a thriving community of Belly Dancers all over the world sending money back to the source. By buying your ticket to the ‘Online Zoom Hafla’ you are creating paid work for Egyptian Artists and you have already supported them. Your donations have already paid for new costumes for our all female troupe so they can work independently in Cairo. You have paid for studio time for our singers to record their music and begin to make an income from the music we all love. In the height of the lockdown we were able to give Christmas presents to all the children in a Local Orphanage. We are so proud of everything we have achieved together.
