We’re Iris Lyre, and we’re creating and hosting a collaborative show combining improvised and prepared live looping musical universes with poetry sent in to us from all over the world. Open Collab was hosted every month throughout lockdown and has now grown into a larger show in beautiful venues across Bristol each year. We move half our home studio onto the stage to create a welcoming atmosphere, so come on in and share in the space of looped soundscapes and harmonies. We've had the privilege to work with some incredible talent from around Bristol, across the UK and overseas to Europe and all around the world. From a project borne of a need to stay collaborative and creative during a time of separation, it has grown into an exciting journey of innovation and creation. See you at the next show!
