Hi everyone, I’m Ami Kaufman, and I’ve been a journalist for the past 20 years in Israeli print (Haaretz, Calcalist, Globes), web (co-founder of +972 Magazine), radio (RAM FM) and TV ("The Spin Room" on i24NEWS). So, why have I’ve decided to start a podcast? Well, I’ve been thinking that there are about 12 million people living between the Jordan River and the Mediterranean, half of them (depends on which way your demographer leans) are Jews, the rest Muslim, Christian, Druze, and more. I want to get to know them better. Some of them might be famous, some of them less so. But all of them interest me. I want to hear with you the stories of anyone and everyone - regardless of religion, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation - between the River and the Sea. I want to do understand what makes these people tick, how they formed their views, what they see for the future, and hope that somewhere deep down that knowledge, about all of us here, can bring us closer. To break down barriers.

Hi everyone, I've just recently started podcasting, and I must say - I'm in love! I talk to fascinating people - everyone, regardless of their faith and/or political views. This is my way of breaking barriers in this region between the Jordan River and Mediterranean Sea. But -- it's a lot of work! This is literally a one-man-show: I do all the editing, booking of guests, script writing, interview prepping, payment for hosting services, hardware and software, social media promotion, etc. Every donation goes a long way in helping me to keep this project alive.
