I am a farm mom from the Colorado Prairie with a view of the Rocky Mountains who loves to bake, and I started writing as part of my stroke-recovery occupational therapy. Honestly, you never know how many words you use until you are laying in a hospital bed with your right side paralyzed and you can’t figure out how to ask or answer simple questions. Months later, I wrote a short story from my middle’s vocabulary lesson and my OT thought it was great, so I began writing. Now I am I publishing. My writer brand is "Be Better, not bitter." Because the majority of my stories deal with themes of overcoming trauma and the choices one makes. I write in several genres.
