Photo|Frome is a yearly, inclusive festival focussed on filling the creative southwest of England community of Frome with all levels of photography and involving residents and visitors as viewers, exhibitors, and hands-on participants throughout our multi-layered three-week programme. As a registered Community Interest Company (CIC 13912579), the involvement of local and regional student and community institutions is integral to Photo|Frome’s mission to help inspire the next generation of photographers. We also partner with many local businesses to help sustain the community.

Hi there – and thanks for dropping by. Photo|Frome's mission is relatively simple: to bring the joy and rewards of photography to all, whilst committing to making a difference in the local community, adding another layer to the town’s already impressive range of creative credentials. Delivering a fully layered festival costs a not-inconsiderable amount of money. Donations, however small, are very gratefully received and, as with all our funding, will be put towards venue hire, photography printing, artists fees, accessibility commitments, production overheads – anything and everything that makes it possible to create the best photography festival we can.
