My poetry is written for people, not for the face in my mirror. I mean I have to like it too but my joy is in the communication to others. And your contributions can make the creation process that much easier. Like coffee... or ink... with donations or tips it can be both. Or, who knows, a sandwich or typewriter ribbon (I know, old school). And it gives a sense of knowing that poetry is alive and valued. Poets too.
