QuaranCon continuing content requires a pro Zoom account and as we usually have at least one interview per month Virginia keeps it running year round. So that's 240 USD since last year's convention. Then during the convention we'll have between 60 and 80 USD extra in zoom fees to enable all of our tech people to help run the show. Then the website will renew again this year in April which is another 130. So that's 450 USD total. Every little bit helps!
We are QuaranCon2022 - A fantasy convention for staying the F home. We're run entirely by volunteers. We started as QuaranCon2020. A year ago, we were QuaranCon2021, next year we're considering calling ourselves QuaranCon20-nah F*&@ It We Give Up. But in all seriousness, while it's not always safe to get together in large groups, we're glad to help entertain our fellow SFF fans virtually. In 2022 we'll be providing hours of free entertainment from April 7th to 11th and if you'd like to chip in for our operating costs, that'd be awesome. Every little bit helps, and if we raise more than our costs we'll put it into prizes for our contests, and if we raise more than that, we'll donate to a covid related charity or use it to fund our ongoing interview series. (We have to run multiple zoom accounts & the website in order to provide youtube panels and artist tables accessible to anyone with an internet connection!)
