Welcome to Romanistan Podcast with cohosts Paulina Verminski and Jezmina Von Thiele/ Jessica Reidy! We’re your friendly neighborhood Gypsies. (We can say that.) We are a celebration of Roma roots, rebels, and resistance. Our podcast features our light-hearted but straight-talking takes on pop culture and Roma & Sinti (et al) issues and experiences, interviews with Roma, Sinti, and related groups doing good things for the community, “international relations” interviews with non-Roma doing great things for their communities, and our Romani fortune teller advice corner! More to come as we gain more support.

Romanistan podcast is growing, and we need your support. Our first round of fundraising will be to help us produce high-quality podcast episodes twice a month, plus bonus videos and our fortune teller advice column where Paulina and Jess help listeners figure it all out. We would like to become a non-profit, so that our advertising and donation proceeds can be shared with different charities, so we can continue to uplift the Roma, Sinti, & related communities, as well as other communities with intersecting issues & identities. Romanistan is a place for Roma & related people, and it’s also a place for us to strengthen our relationships with other cultures. We are working to become a media company that will produce high-quality content from other Roma & related creators, so we can better serve our community and cause!
