I am a multi-hyphenate theatre maker—a director, deviser, producer, and educator. Gender parity in theatre (aka equal opportunity and representation for women+ in all areas) is a huge part of my work, as is building community with theatre folks and audiences who are interested in equity. My non-theatre creative outlet is making jewelry. I've been doing it since I was 10 years old and I get great joy out of making something I can actually hold in my hands! Reusing and recycling have always been big in my family and I've gravitated to upcycling parts from old or broken jewelry to create new pieces. (check out my shop!) As you probably know, pursuing a career in the arts is not always the most stable. I'm fundamentally a freelancer and I volunteer a lot of my time as an organizer and gender parity advocate.
