Linoleum relief print with chine collé. The image is 4"x6" printed on 5"x7" Rives, 100% cotton paper, framed under glass to 8x10. Color of flower in closeup print may vary from framed print as I have created multiple prints and only have one available framed right now. Contact me for alternate varieties. Chine collé is the technique used to give the flowers their color. I coat the back of decorative paper with a water activated glue, and then tear them into a circle. After I ink my linoleum block, I carefully place the paper cutout on my block before laying the lightly moistened final paper over top of both and running it through my press. The moisture in the page activates the glue on the paper cutout and transfers it to the card along with the ink. Exposure to water can potentially damage the designs on these prints. Please protect them from moisture.
