Accessing creativity is hard, and if you’re a perfectionist, it might even feel impossible. Whether you’re a writer, artist of another medium, or just someone who hasn’t taken the time to be creative in a while, this workshop is your first step to opening up the wealth of creativity within you. By the end of this workshop, you will be able to: - Classify helpful and unhelpful perfectionism - Identify personal beliefs that reenforce your perfectionist tendencies - Manage expectations to keep you moving forward - Use tools to push past and manage perfectionism I’ve been a perfectionist for as long as I can remember, and when I started my business, that was the primary thing holding me back. With the help of the tools that I introduce in this workshop (and a very patient therapist) I learned how to shift my mindset away from the duality of success and failure, to trust myself more, and to open up my inner creative that I’d been pushing away for years. Perfectionism doesn’t go away, but we can train ourselves to work with it and to tear down (or walk around) the seemingly immoveable wall that keeps us from taking risks and moving forward.
