Hello! I'm Yasumi, zine maker, mum and curious observer, based in Tokyo. I'm showing up here to gently remind people that boring is not actually boring and that Inspiration can come from anywhere and everywhere. I know that it sounds cliché, but there is solid truth in this notion and I hope that I can encourage others tune into it from the most mundane of sources. Super Ordinary Life is a true labour of love! I spend lots hours and my own money to keep the project going. I keep my space advert free and make no income from partnering with brands. Pretty much all the money earned from Zine making goes straight back into the project and pays for the website, hosting, research and zine making supplies.

Welcome to my Ko-fi Page. I am looking forward to sharing way to keep a "fresh-eye feeling" in a mundane world as well as behind-the-scenes info on my zine making process. My hope for 2022 is to create membership levels and zines that communicate a more immersive off-line experience for supporters. As well as sharing a steady stream of "ways to notice", I would like to start a conversation about the creative process and all the complicated messiness that entails. Each issue will explore a different theme circling the creative process, mindfulness and of course noticing stuff.
