Your Donation We hope you feel empowered to donate as little or as much as you want! TFS is all about sharing the burden. They say many hands make light work—many small donations give this project the stability it needs to keep on chuggin' along! Here are some examples of what your donation can do: Chippin' In $6 per month About five days' worth of basic groceries for one person Love n Solidarity $12 per month About a week's worth of basic groceries for a household of 2 people Family Support $30 per month About a week's worth of basic groceries for a household of 5 people Stability n Comfort $50 per month About a month's worth of basic groceries for a household of 2 people Sharing Abundance $100 per month About a month's worth of basic groceries for a household of 4 people Your Cup Overfloweth $300 per month This is about how much we spend on non-food related costs (mostly rent) in a given month. These costs will surely go up when we find a long-term, summer-proof home Wealth Redistribution $500 per month If you have the financial security, making monthly donations this big is a great way to support your neighbors in our efforts toward food security for all <3 Typical Expenses Between bulk grocery items rent and miscellaneous expenses, we generally spend between $1,000 and $2,000 each week. If we can lock down $5,000 per month, we can continue this work perpetually! Any more than that means we can distribute more to other mutual aid groups, purchase more expensive items (like oils, spices, dairy, meat, nuts, canned goods, etc.), or even work toward purchasing a dedicated building for the Food Share and other community-run mutual aid projects to grow and thrive for years to come!
