Valley Studios

HIYA INTERWEBS! Welcome to the official Valley Studios Ko-Fi page; we are SO happy you decided to swing by! Lord knows you have a lot of other options out there, but we really are ecstatic you chose us. We will try not to be as disappointing as accidentally summoning a Magikarp when facing off against a gym master (its a Pokemon reference, if you didn't get it you're in the wrong place). Before we beg for your money, though feel free to skip ahead and donate (it's like a choose your own adventure), let us tell you a bit about ourselves. Who is Valley Studios? The studio was created by Michael Cook and Aaron Berogan (the "us" constantly referred to). The two met acting in 2014 during a performance of The Comedy of Errors (it's a Shakespeare play), where they bonded over a common purpose: the love of telling stories. The two come from different yet similar backgrounds: -Aaron received two degrees from Northern Illinois University, (Theater Performance and Broadcast Journalism) and is completing his Masters of Arts in Corporate Communication. -Michael earned his Bachelors of Fine Arts in Media Arts & Animation from The Illinois Institute of Art-Schaumburg, and is a proud former participant of the Disney College Program in Anaheim, CA. Together, the pair embarked on a journey to entertain and inspire one show at a time...of course they couldn't keep it to ONE show at a time. What are we working on? We've worked on a number of different projects over the years; everything from nerd culture news shows to comic variety shows. If you want to see MORE on THOSE projects, check out our website at https://www.valleystudiosmedia.com/ ! As for the current projects being developed at the studio, we have these two: The Tenno Way is our Dungeons and Dragons podcast. Why DND? Well Aaron loves podcasts, DnD, and performing. More importantly he wanted to make DnD accessible to everyone. Each week you'll follow the adventures of this motley crew of misfits as they stumble their way through the fantasy world, learn the game of DND and have a ton of fun in the process! Don't like rolling dice? That's fine, enjoy the story and characters they create. It's a fun way to get into the game, and learn from a team who are learning themselves! The Tenno Way is more than just a reason for Aaron to get together with his friends and play DnD. It is his way of reaching out to those who don't understand the game, are intimidated by DnD, or simply think, "it's only for nerds." Our main goal besides having fun is making it accessible and fun for everyone. The Tenno Way is about creating a world and characters listeners can escape into and let go of the stresses or worries and just unwind for a bit. It's a table all are welcome at. Chucky Chicken is an animated series created by Michael himself; the series focuses on the titular Chucky and his Barnyard Friends through the town of Featherton, USA. It's lovingly dubbed as Valley Studio's tribute to the magic of the golden age of animation. We're talking hand drawn 2D animation, water colored backgrounds, and slap-stick comedy surrounding lovable characters. Through all that, Michael wants to showcase high-quality animation that has been missing from mainstream media. The pilot episode of Chucky Chicken will be two ten minute shorts that Michael has been working on for years. The project will be an entirely family-friendly show in the style of classic 1930's cartoons and will be as fluidly 2D animated as possible. It will feature an incredible voice cast, with very familiar and unfamiliar talents, and will be a loving tribute to the works of Disney, Fleischer (creators of Popeye, Betty Boop, the animations people think are Disney but aren't), Warner Bros., and Ub Iwerks (They guy who helped create Oswald the Lucky Rabbit and Mickey Mouse). As of right now The Tenno Way and Chucky Chicken are the main projects that we are focusing on. Almost all rewards and benefits have to do with those two projects. However, that's NOT ALL, FOLKS! As we knock our goals down we want to create EVEN MORE content, as crazy as that sounds! By being part of this community YOU can get a sneak peek (but more on that later). Why Ko-Fi? Well, many of the people who have helped us with our projects have done so on a volunteer basis. As you can imagine, we would like to find ways to compensate those who have given us one of their most precious commodities, their time, by giving them one of our most precious commodities, your money. In all seriousness though, we want to be able to give back to those who have helped bring us so far and bring new teammates into the fold; while also keeping up-to-date with audio and video recording equipment requirements and high quality talent, to give you the best possible products. We also want to be able to do this full time; many of us work odd jobs to pay the bills and support our families, and some of us live in areas that don't allow us to be creative for a living. There aren't any major production studios in our area, and we don't want to go that route seeing that this allows us the freedom to create the kinds of stories we want to tell. We're the underdogs, and with your help we'll be able to bring some good hearted stories to life and make a mark in this ever-changing landscape that is the entertainment biz. If you want to ensure all these amazing talents who work on these projects get paid what they deserve and to keep our projects alive and thriving please consider supporting. Anyways, enough RAMbling. Final Thoughts Even if you are unable to donate that's okay! The core of our content is available for free. You can still support us by sharing everything that comes out of Valley Studios with friends, family, and maybe even enemies. So click on that "Donate" button, subscribe to our projects, and join us on this incredible journey. Pledging is something we know nobody has to do, but it really does help us produce all this work for you guys- for free! We don't ever want to stop producing and we want our projects to get better and better! So every little bit helps!
