WeShouldPractice

Malo le soifua! My name is Louise Tu'u and I work under the name of my business, We Should Practice. I identify as a Samoan woman who works in the arts, firstly in theatre as a playwright for 14 years and now writing for the screen since 2017. I've written and published two books, staged all but one of my plays and am constantly working on multiple creative projects. Since 2009, we have been documenting our own work in performance and that of others in Aotearoa New Zealand, Germany, the United Kingdom, Japan and the United States. We also write up about community events that we thoroughly recommend and enjoy. Since 2022, I have launched a creative accountability business, which has two arms: 1) I help you plan and finish your unfinished creative project e.g. novel, manuscript, letter or even tax invoice and 2) generate ideas and hold space for your creative endeavour such as writing a letter/email to your local MP (Member of Parliament), brainstorming your next project launch or giving you ideas for chapters of your next book.
