As a writer and director, I write a lot of my plans, ideas, films and musings by hand. Obviously, I wrote this on my laptop (MacBook Air represent!) but when I am working, there's a magic in writing things by hand. Malo le soifua! My name is Louise Tu'u and I work under the name of my business, We Should Practice. I identify as a Samoan woman who works in the arts, firstly in theatre as a playwright for 14 years and now writing for the screen since 2017. I've written and published two books, staged all but one of my plays and am constantly working on multiple creative projects.
