I want to build a yurt for the new Studio! Yes this may seem odd but think of how connected you might feel to be creating in a round space instead of a square? To feel the weather through the walls while safely tucked beside a fire. To move, stretch, and reach to a ceiling with peak-a-boo views of the sky. To step outside and be nurtured by nature. Think about it, how can we investigate the most protected parts of ourselves if we don't feel a felt sense of safe? I want to create a sanctuary that nurtures us on every level and I can't do this alone. If this dream speaks to you consider donating. This space is a place to support bringing a dream to reality. Donate to help me start an Expressive Arts Centre in the Comox Valley rooted in sustainability.
