As many fans of BL know, it can be difficult to find spaces where you feel able and encouraged to discuss what you're reading, what you're hoping to find, etc. In a typical bookstore environment, it's difficult to even find staff who can answer questions about the books they sell. Yiggybean was founded with the hope that BL fans might find a fun, supportive, knowledgable space where they feel comfortable, welcome, and respected. Since opening our doors in March 2022, we've learned a lot about what's available over seas that we just aren't getting over here. We would love to bring more of that to you! But, it isn't always within our means to do so as some contracts require hefty good faith deposits and ongoing volume commitments. We're almost there, but not quite. Potentially, this Ko-fi page will help us bridge the gap and enable us to expand so we can bring you more of what you love from all over the globe! Our first plan is to expand our contacts in Japan, but I am hoping to bring in goods from Korea in the future, as well.
