I would like to donate at least 30 percent of all monies I receive to The Care Project. This is an organization that helps women who have been diagnosed with breast cancer. They actually pay their bills, donate hats/caps/wigs, etc. In 2017 my daughter was diagnosed with breast cancer. This organization helped her pay her insurance premiums until she received more affordable health care. I love this organization because they give to the patient.
Hi I'm Antoinette, but most people call me Toni. Why "stitchntalk?" First of all I am an avid crocheter. I have crocheted since the age of 8. I am also a licensed marriage and family therapist. I enjoy helping people overcome life's struggles. As a Marriage and Family Therapist I do this through talk therapy encouraging clients to change the way they think, change their behavior, and change the things that they do. I believe that crochet is a wonderful way to relieve stress and anxiety and other symptoms that may cause mental imbalance. So, I decided to marry the two and Stitch N Talk was born!
Crocheting is one of the most relaxing things you can do, and the great thing is that when you're done you have something uniquely beautiful to sell or gift. I've always loved to crochet. I love the idea of taking a very long string and making it into something lovely. I would love to teach crochet, and sell my handmade articles. I also love to gift people with crocheted articles. There's nothing like receiving a uniquely made garment. Also, I plan to donate hats, scarves, and shawls to CARE a cancer support organization in the town I live in. My daughter was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2017 and they helped our family tremendously.
