Every few months, I get rocked with hosting fees and other fees pertaining to my websites. Advertising revenue only covers a small bit of it. I want to keep the material public and free, but the more traffic it gets, the more expensive it becomes. I'm looking to raise enough money that I can at least pre-pay for three years of hosting. It's substantially cheaper than paying every three months (seriously, like $18/month cheaper), and it means the site continues for at least three more years!
