Sharon Lee is best known for the creation of and on-going contributions to the original space opera, the Liaden Universe®, which includes over twenty novels and many short works. In addition to her space opera work, Lee has written five solo novels, including two Maine cozy mysteries – Barnburner and Gunshy – and an urban fantasy trilogy – Carousel Tides, Carousel, Sun, Carousel Seas. Lee's work has won SF and Romance awards. She and her longtime co-author, husband Steve Miller, are joint recipients of NESFA's Skylark Award. Sharon Lee and Steve Miller live in Maine, in a Very Peculiar House, with their three Maine coon cats.
