Welcome! I'm happy you found my Ko-fi page and I'm looking forward to growing a positive, inclusive community with you! Who Am I? I'm Josh, an old school gamer with a chill, relaxing demeanor. I stream a variety of games with a focus on sim/management, retro, indie and horror games. I'm also a Planet Coaster & Planet Zoo Featured Creator & Ambassador. I'm also creator/owner of 8bitCookies - where I make and sell NES game cartridge shaped sugar cookies! Since 8bitCookies is an extension of my 8bitJosh brand - both businesses will be represented here! Why Ko-fi? I really love making content for all of you, whether it's making videos on YouTube or hanging out during live streams on Twitch! But the landscape has changed quite a bit since I started in 2016 where the only real options were Twitch and YouTube. As someone who primarily streams on Twitch, I've wanted to branch out to some of the other platforms that have emerged, like TikTok and Instagram and I wanted to have one singular place where folks can support me if they choose to do so. Also to be fully transparent, Ko-fi has the best creator/platform revenue split with 95% going to the creator for memberships and 100% of one-time donations going to the creator! With Twitch's abysmal 50/50 split, I will be recommending Ko-fi memberships over Twitch subs. I'm also looking into the store option for selling cookies for my 8bitCookies business!
