While writing and maintaining it is free, there are overhead costs to keep things running. In 2024, our goal will be to finally break even. However, at this time, we're experimenting with a pop-up / one-time payment method. There are thousand of users who use the site, but almost none of them are known, a subscription model might not be the best, and its the goal for Chaotican Writer to thrive without requiring the posting of obnoxious advertisements. So, we're seeing how likely individual users from the world wide web are receptive to tips or donations! We have a lot of plans for 2024 and beyond, and in order to cover current costs and even consider expenses beyond that, we are seeking a baseline for revenue, even if it is just a few donations a month.
