Ragged Foils

When you go to a theatre new writing night, you are usually looking at paying £10 a ticket to hear 6-8 pieces of new writing. That £10 helps to cover the costs of hiring the theatre for the night. The Ragged Scratch Podcast is free to listen to on as many podcasting platforms as we can find, but that doesn't mean there aren't costs to cover. We pay for our website (www.raggedfoils.co.uk) to host the podcast on, as well as studio hire to record our main series episodes. Not to mention every single creative involved is donating their time and skills for free - and we'd love to get to the point where we can pay them too! Each season involves approximately 12 writers, 6-12 directors, 12-36 actors, 1 recording engineer/editor/epic sound wizard, 1 producer/spreadsheet high priestess, plus however many production assistants kindly volunteer their time, which is a rather large number of creatives involved! It is important to the values of the Ragged Foils team that the core podcast remain free and accessible, so we would love for those listeners who do feel like they can financially contribute us to support us where possible.
