dept.con.temporary is an artist lead gallery and studio presenting contemporary art exhibitions, screenings and workshops from a growing community of South East London artists connected to our space. Founded in 2021 by artists Karolina Glusiec and Jamie Temple, working from their Deptford High Street flat, to create supportive opportunities for artists and makers to show work, discuss themes and ideas and develop their practice. Our aim is to enable artists and makers living and working in South East London to showcase works and projects in a way that is sensitive to and reflective of their needs. We are working towards creating sustainable ways in which to make and share work, opening up our space as a platform for new contemporary art in all its forms to local artists and makers.
