Tim Mann is an experienced, passionate and exciting artist. He is unremitting in his commitment to ensure that his artistic engagement is innovative, accessible, diverse and sustainable. He works with, and for his audience, striving to ensure that they have the best possible experience. This engagement then becomes a catalyst for further cultural expansion. For him, the human figure and the self are the most enduring themes in the visual arts. However, it is not so much about the form but the human condition that appeals to him and it is this which he strives to present in his work. When Tim works in communities and engages collaboratively, it makes the process and, ultimately, the finished artwork more responsive and more human. Humans are social by nature and find meaning in relationships. Tim’s work focuses on himself as an individual and how he connects with society. His neurodiversity has at times made him feel at odds with the world and it is through his creative process that he is able to feel integrated with different communities.
