one thing that is incredibly hard to do on disability is save money for things like trips, vacations, or general leisure. i have not left my city or gone out anywhere for any reason other than family events in 5-6 years. i would very, very much like for this to change, as the isolation is a bit much for me. even if it's something small, i'd like to do something this year. thank you!
hello there! i'm miles! i'm a 24 year old artist based in ontario, canada. i'm disabled and unable to work a normal 9 to 5, so my art is my only current revenue stream beyond what i receive monthly as a disabled individual. though i'm far from being considered a true professional, i take a lot of pride and enjoyment out of art and the supplemental income of commissions enables me to have a higher quality of living and to continue focusing on my recovery outside of 'normal' work. i take both commissions and donations here on my ko-fi for this reason-- every little bit helps support me in figuring my life out and going down the path to a (hopefully) better life. thank you!
