This year my goal is to go to a larger con outside of Kansas City. I've only ever been to Planet Comicon. My sister lives in LA, so that would be the easiest one to go to for us. This Ko-Fi goal is to help me pay for plane tickets (x3 people) from KC to LA in October.
Since growing up is optional, I still play dress up for fun. I started cosplaying as my husband's "booth babe" to try to help sell his books at conventions, yet now I'm in love with creating new costumes all the time. I'm learning new techniques all the time, but I love creating from found items and thrift store clothes, as much as possible. I've made a sort of challenge to myself to make each costume as cheaply as possible. Unfortunately, that doesn't always work out, and so I made this account, because I feel guilty spending too much on myself.
