Welcome to MEND. sewing by Emma. I am a UK sewist, teaching beginners sewing skills, sustainable making and producing online content for sewists worldwide.
Hi everyone, my name is Emma and I love to sew :) I was inspired to begin sewing after a life event in 2010. I started with a simple cushion cover at a local class. When I met my good friend Kelly in 2017 I joined Instagram (as @shelovestomake.uk) and started dressmaking non-stop. I was excited to launch my own YouTube sewing channel, She loves to make in 2019; and after attending some London and Paris meet ups I launched Devon Sews meet ups group - to encourage Devon sewers to meet online or in person to discuss their sewing for inspiration and a greater sense of community in the South West. I will be using my Ko-fi page to support the work I do outside of my busy day job, when vlogging and organising Devon Sews meet ups.
