Hello! We are West Cork Sudbury School, a group of like minded individuals who have come together to set up a democratic school based on self-directed learning in the West Cork area in Ireland. We believe that every child should be entitled not only to an education but an education that suits them! Unfortunately at the moment Ireland does not provide ANY funding to schools who do not follow the set curriculum (which Sudbury Schools do not) so this school will have to be entirely self funded and this is why any help we can get with this process would mean an awful lot!
