Hi friends! I'm Nuri and I design cross stitch patterns celebrating black culture, positivity, and inclusivity. I discovered the magic and zen of cross stitch in 2018, well into adulthood, but fell in love with my very first X. Shaded was launched in January 2022 and it's been the best kind of adventure. Working with pixels on a daily basis as a graphic designer made falling down the rabbit hole of designing patterns very easy. I started designing to create patterns with subject matters and themes I couldn't find to stitch for myself. Seeing stitchers connect with and enjoy my designs means everything to me!
