Kathryn is a playful, inventive multi-instrumentalist, who loves to create, jam, improvise and harmonise in a wide range of musical genres. She especially loves unexpected stuff - synthpop on squeezebox, tango on tabor pipe! Kathryn writes tunes for and produces sheet music for piano accordion, 20-button anglo concertina and sets poetry to music. She Improvises and arranges music and can do session work. With Way Out West she has done everything from punk to pop on accordion, fiddle and harmony/lead vocals and with Tinkerscuss harmonised anglo-celtic folk on viola, accordion and vocals. She is well known for playing a bard, fostering community through song - as crew for LARP events. She has played medieval and early music, but now prefers to stay up late :P
