And a very feral mom found Peaker’s barn a nice safe space to have her kittens. Those kittens have been caught and are on the way to taming down very nicely and mom is getting used to eating food in preparation to be caught and spayed. Milk replacer, dewormer, spaying, vaccinations - none of it is cheap and your help is much appreciated!
Team Valiant came together in 2013 to save a starved horse, Valiant. Since then we’ve saved many more animals, cats, chickens, dogs, a potbellied pig but mainly horses with 5 currently in sanctuary care. The money raised for Team Valiant here is used for feed and bedding (about $1500 a month is needed), blacksmith (roughly $1,200)and vetting, meds, supplements ($200 a month or so). We are entirely volunteer run and our host farms pays infrastructure costs unless we run a specific campaign for something specific.

Team Valiant will be using Ko-Fi to launch mini-campaigns throughout the year. We had a launch in February which was very successful then a spring launch to help with some unexpected hay costs which would have been fine had there not been unexpected vetting costs!
