Hi! I'm Allie! //MONSOON GAMES// Monsoon Games is a one-woman indie game development studio, with two games in the works: College Tennis: Origin Story, and Merry Crisis. Both are cozy, slice-of-life, story-rich games that center around a diverse cast of characters. //COLLEGE TENNIS: ORIGIN STORY// ~ Slice-of-life x sports x college ~ Experience the ups-and-downs of life as a freshman on the Cargill University varsity tennis team amongst a colorful cast of characters. Compete in nail-biting singles and doubles matches and carve your own distinctive play-style, forge lifelong friendships, and make a name for yourself, both on and off the tennis court. Pursue budding romances with the surly, fiery no. 1 seed, the snarky, enigmatic French exchange student, the warm unflappable team captain, or your spirited (if a little nerdy) best friend from back home. //MERRY CRISIS// ~ Romance x character-centric ~ As a late 20-something year-old fresh from a recent break-up and struggling to pay rent in New York, life throws up more questions than answers. Will the trip home for the holidays bring a fresh perspective, and a welcome change of scenery? Will you survive the week with your sanity—and your relationship with your family—intact? Will you win back your ex, revisit an old flame, the first love you left behind in Singapore, or perhaps start something new with the neighbor your mother loves-to-hate? //WHERE DOES THE MONEY GO// I'm a full-time urban planner, so most of my writing gets done at night or on weekends. I generally get about 10-hours of writing, coding, and editing in per week as it stands, but I hope to eventually transition towards writing part-time (officially) or even full-time, so //Monsoon Games// as an indie games label can really take off (I have so many ideas I'd love to write one day!)
