This is an ongoing goal to maintain a sustainable studio practice where work can be created on a regular basis in 2022. This will include fantastical works created in oil paint, acrylic, gouache, colored pencil, and clay.
Imagination and technique are equally respected in Alyssa’s studio practice. With a bestial combination of various painting and drawing techniques her methodology of creating fantastical scenarios is meant to generate a rhythm of space for one's psyche to explore the enigmatic. Monthly supporters will be given early access to viewership and the advantage to collect any recently completed small works 1 day before they are exhibited to the public. Alyssa resides in Philadelphia with her husband and colleague, Painter Sterling Shaw, their 5-year-old son Odilon, and their cat Easel.
