I support parents who are fleeing from the public school system for alternatives in youth education. I translated Hebrew and wrote commentary until 2003, when I was assaulted during a robbery. I awoke with broken teeth, unable to use my right arm, and didn’t know my name. To regain my sanity, I began writing Unassimilated. By the time I finished this debut novel, I had regained much of my memory and the use of my right arm. Since then, I have won a number of literary awards and often appear as a guest speaker on diverse subjects, such as: clean fiction, solution-based thinking, life as an immigrant, Israel, Iran, and how to write and sell good books. Good literature is good medicine.
