We have finally gotten to the point where we are only buying 1 year at a time, instead of 2 or 3. Our next goal is Year 8. Our library system is wonderful; but many books are just not available; so we are also collecting high quality free time reading series as well, like the Box Car Children, Billy and Blaze, and many more.
Our choice to exclusively homeschool is the factor of several things: our dislike of the current public school system, the poor achievement of the schools in our area, our personal beliefs, the desire for our children to excel (not only in school, but in life), success of family and friends that have homeschooled in the past, and the desire to be more involved in their education and lives. Donations here help us to continue living the dream and raise up amazing human beings that will hopefully be a good influence on society.
