Hi, my name is Kira! I created Craft Less Waste (formerly Shop Less Waste) in 2019, but I've been an artist all my life and have had many other iterations of an art store. Craft Less Waste is different because I am now focused on bringing my love for the planet into my creative endeavors! This shows up as me not buying anything new to make the art I sell here. All of my supplies have been thrifted, scavenged, handed down, or recycled in some other way! Even the items that look new, I probably found secondhand with the tags still attached! I'm also incorporating my spiritual practices here because, to me, my creative expression and spirituality go hand in hand.

I created Shop Less Waste in 2021 to combine my passions for art and environmental conservation. Watercolor and paper-making are my primary mediums, but you can also expect to see embroidery, knitting, crocheting, sculpting, and acrylic painting on my ko-fi! I hope my art inspires others to reduce their waste and be more conscious about their consumerism. I am excited to keep learning to make my art even more sustainable and explore new styles along the way!
