I created the website after my parents died and I fell into a legal and financial quagmire that I had no idea how to handle. I didn't want anyone else to be in the same boat as me, so I decided to turn my copious notes into a website. Squarespace is a great platform for hosting websites, but it's pricey—about $200 a year. Any tips I receive through Ko-fi will go toward paying annual fees for the website subscription and the domain name. If I receive more tips than cover the cost of the website, I'll donate the remainder to The Order of the Good Death, which promotes death positivity and preparing death plans so your loved ones aren't left in the lurch.
