It has always been my dream to produce a stage show that allowed me to act and sing. I am hoping to create a one man stage show with professionally mastered backing tracks, colorful lighting and a visual presentation. All of these along with wonderful effects will that enhance my performance that will not only include the songs but stories of inspiration that surround the lives of the artists and the writers of the music I perform.
My name is Dennis Svehla aka Denny Diamond and recently the self-proclaimed, "World's Okayest Vocalist". I was a vocal major in college but after an appearance on Dick Clark's, "Your Big Break", I became a Neil Diamond tribute artist. I have a show I call "a Neil Diamond story" that features his music and stories of what inspired his songs. I also enjoy performing originals along with covers from Broadway to Country music. Now, like everyone, I'm finding my place after COVID. I hope you join me on the journey. I'm looking forward to an interesting time.
